I would like to express a BIG thank you and congratulations on behalf of the CARAS organization to the City of Calgary for helping to make the 2008 JUNO Awards a tremendous success.

Over the four days of the Juno Awards Weekend and still so, I continue to hear nothing but praise for what a fantastic weekend it truly was. Every event was executed to perfection! Thank you for sharing your beautiful city, world-class accommodations and vibrant music scene with thousands of fans from across Canada, and for adding that special Calgary charisma to the JUNO experience.

I'd like to express gratitude to the countless volunteers, businesses, venues, artists and local music fans for your support, enthusiasm and gracious hospitality.

To our friends on the Calgary Host Committee, it's been a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable and passionate group of peers. You’ve inspired new ideas and brought incredible energy and local flavour to our annual music traditions and celebrations - the free outdoor concert at Olympic Plaza was absolutely electrifying!

The JUNO Awards in Calgary will be remembered as one of the best ever, and we are honoured to have helped kick start Calgary's Music Lives Here legacy!

Sincerely,

Melanie Berry
President, CARAS
